When and where do I rsvp?
Please RSVP here on the website using the RSVP form by 15th May 2025. You are more than welcome to rsvp before this date!
What if I can't make it?
You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring a guest?
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.
*Please include the guest's name when submitting your RSVP form. We kindly ask that any guests attending are close family, friends or partners only. If for some reason you do not have the option to RSVP with a guest or have any question about whether or not your guest is appropriate, please reach out to us personally and we can help! Thank you!
Can I bring my kids?
This is a day about bringing two families together and we would love to welcome all children to come and celebrate. Please note any children under the age of 10 in the comments on your RSVP.
Do you have a registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund or you may peek at our registry. You can find the links below!
What is the dress code?
The dress code is black-tie optional or formal attire. We encourage everyone to have fun dressing up and to wear something that shows their personality:
Men: Tuxedo, Suit, tie, bow-tie, dress shoe
Women: evening gown, cocktail dress, formal jumpsuit, heeled shoe, formal sandal
*Please refrain from wearing white or a white bow-tie. Thank you!
What will the weather be like?
The warm Portuguese sun will most likely be joining us on our special day. While our event doesn’t start until 6pm, you can still expect to experience warm / hot temperatures around 30c and 25c into the evening.
Where should I stay?
We will not have a room block available but can be sure there are many hotel and air bnb options in Lisbon and near the wedding venue. Please see our Accommodations page for more info.
How close is the airport?
Solar de Pancas is approximately 30 minutes from the Lisbon airport. If you are traveling to Portugal, please see the travel page for accommodation recommendations.
Will transportation be provided?
We kindly ask that all our guests find their own transportation to the wedding venue, but we have arranged for a shuttle service to transport guests back to Lisbon from the venue.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. After you park, follow the pathway toward the Entrance.
What time should I arrive?
Please plan on arriving at 17:30 (5:30 pm) pm to give yourself time to get a drink and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 18:00 (6:00pm).
What language will the ceremony be in?
Our ceremony will be performed in both English and Portuguese.
Can I take photos?
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!
What happens after the ceremony?
After we say “I do,” we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve beer, wine, cocktails, and light hors d’oeuvres. We will take our seats for dinner at 20:00 (8:00pm).
Will there be an open bar?
It wouldn’t be a Lourenco Wedding without one! We will be offering select wine, beer, and signature cocktails.
What time does the reception end?
We fully expect our loved ones to come prepared and ready to celebrate. The reception will take us all through the night until 4:30 am.
Can I smoke on the property?
The venue is a smoke free property. However, you are welcome to smoke in the parking lot just outside of the venue.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please note any dietary restriction in the comments when submitting your RSVP.
